A Sling is a one-handed projectile weapon that requires a stone as the ammunition. It is often used by players who have low Marksmanship skill, as it is twice as easy to aim with than the Bow. However, the sling does lower damage than the bow - 60 base damage. Damage increases with the quality of the sling, while the aiming speed increases with both sling quality but is limited by 2x the wielder's marksmanship.

The quality of the Sling is (avg.stringQ + avg.leatherQ)/2. It is softcapped by survival if the quality is higher than the crafter's Survival skill; if your Survival is lower than the quality of the strings, then the quality of the resulting sling will be negatively affected.

Damage Edit

Damage is based on the quality level of the sling. Your Perception attribute affects the minimum damage of ranged attacks. Your target's agility reduces your damage.

Max damage = 60 * sqrt(ql / 10)
Min damage = 0.5 * (PER / AGL) * MAXDAMAGE

Where PER is your Perception attribute and AGL is the enemy's agility.

Accuracy Edit

Your Marksmanship skill directly affects how quickly your Aim Bar fills up whilst aiming.
